There are moments in life that you will never forget. Moment that touch you so deeply they are forever embedded in the make up of your soul. This is the story of one of those moment.
Most of you, my followers, know Jessica. Jessica is my best friend, the owner of Just Cheeky, a part time model for me and my best client. She never fails to call me when she needs moment, special moments in her life captured. When she found out she was pregnant, she called. "We need to do are we are expecting shoot!" When she found out it was a boy. "What are your ideals on the gender reveal." And of course ITS BABY DAY! and the fresh48. This was special to me because I was able to capture the first moments of his life. He came out wide eyed and ready. The picture is the second one ever taken of him and he was a whole whopping 15 minutes old. These moments are fleeting and I am truly blessed to be asked to capture them. But that isn't the end of this story. The next part brought me to tears. Let me introduce Myra, one of Jess's blank providers. (Lady holding the canvas.) She is a darling of a lady who always has a smile to offer, a nice word and tons of super cute stuff she sales for embrodierers to customize. Early spring she met Jess and have since become close. Every step of the pregnancy she has been there feeding someones addiction to have all things special made for the kids! Her sweet nature and constant prayers were always a message, or visit away.
Only days after Mr. W came into the world, Jess shared this picture and said, "this is going to have to be a canvas on my wall." Shortly after I received a message from Myra asking if I remembered her. I had met her once but being apart of her Facebook group and friends with Jess I feel like I know her. She then proceeded to ask if I allowed gifts to be purchased for a person who had used my services. Of course, I do. Items are delivered to me and I give them to my client. (I would never deliver a persons photo to some one not agreed to by my client.) Since Jess is my best friend, I was over joyed, brought to tears and giddy for the week it took the canvas to arrive. I mean seriously, I see or talk to her everyday. All the while she is talking to me about this photo and what size to get and where to put it... You know Proud momma talk! Also knowing how sweet Myra is and how much Jess loves her I did things a little different. I asked could I deliver the canvas to Myra and hide and capture Jess receiving it. Today the canvas arrived! Doing a happy dance, I messaged her to let her know and the plan I had in mind to make it all work.
The plan. Since Myra deals in goodies, the plan was simple really. Since I already knew Jess had nothing to do today except coffee date with me, I told her, "tell Jess that you bought something for Mr. W, and he has to have it for Valentines." And easy as pie she was off to visit. I arrived, parked around the block and hid. The rest of the story is all in the picture. I rarely see Jess brought to tears. I think we all got a little teary eyed. I love seeing the love and kindness. It truly melts my heart to see someone go above and beyond to make someones day just a little extra special! So thank you Jess for being a part of my world and Thank you Myra for loving her that much and including me. I am truly blessed to know both of these ladies!
