Artfully Embellished

There is nothing more exciting then receiving presents in the mail.... What can make them more fun?  When they come decorated with awesomeness!

Wondering what is in the box aren't you?   I couldn't wait to get inside.  One, I love goodies of all kinds and  two, shooting product photography I tend to keep my postman busy.  But this was a special gift for my self and birthday gift for one of the most important people in my life.     Opening the box I was even more blown away by the care and extra details that were put in to making sure my package arrived in perfect condition.  In addition to some major bubble wrap they were packaged individually in this adorable bags!

So before I tell you what is in the box let me introduce you to a very sweet lady I have had the honor of being a guinea pig for!  Say hello to Amanda from Artfully Embellished.

So Tell everyone a little bit about yourself...

I'm a former Professional Tattoo Artist (of 6years) turned SAHM (of 2 boys)/part-

time Professional Face and Body Painter/Henna Artist (about 5 years so far).

How Did you get started with Artfully Embellished?

Artfully Embellished essentially started in 2012, when I started making bottle cap

images for a friend which then led to me designing Facebook banners for business

pages (mostly people in the reptile breeding business lol). Then in 2013 I decided

I wanted to pick up crocheting again. I started hoarding crochet patterns and

crocheting lots of awesome stuff...Even pattern testing for some awesome

designers! I eventually stumbled upon the Mad Mad Makers which gave me the

opportunity to meet lots of people who own great Handmade Businesses as well

as following tons of new ones.

And now for what is in the box.   Her newest line of creations!

Custom Hand Carved Stamps!!!

They are amazing!  They are high quality and the stamp its self is just phenomenal!  What I love even more is her husband cuts all the wood blocks so they fit the custom stamp perfectly!  Of course, I had to know how they stamp so I tried them out on my cd covers.   I didn't give her a size when I offered to let her try her new line out and I have to admit it is perfect!   I love that it takes up the center of my covers but isn't overwhelming!

And because my best friend is always mailing out packages I thought well what else would be perfect for her upcoming birthday!  I was blown away with the detail in her stamp! (and so was she!)  Jessica was even more excited that her stamp had her very loved monkey!  She has been wanting to get a stamp with just the logo for a long time!

So what made you decide to get into hand carved stamps?

I found Hoffee And A Nuffin and was in awe of her hand carved stamps! I had no

idea this could be done and since I have what some would call Hobby A.D.D. and I

have to try and do all kinds of things (cant stick to just one) .. the stamp ideas

started flowing and I went and purchased all the things I needed to start! At the

beginning of January this year I carved my first stamp!! After carving a few of my

own ideas that is when I decided to attempt your lovely logo and once I posted it,

it turned into an opportunity id never imagined! I never thought It would be this

popular. With doing crochet items there are so many others that do it as well, that

unless you are a fabulous designer or have something that sets you apart, it is very

easy to get looked over. So this new found popularity is new to me!! And now

since January I have carved 20 different logo stamps and a handful of my own

design. And the interest just keeps growing as businesses share their stamp

photos!

Here is a small sample of some of the stamps she has already done.  Isn't the detail just out of this world?  I know she has a crazy long waiting list but trust me it is worth the wait!

Love the things you see here?  Then you can follow Amanda!
