Luvin Pictures Photography ~ Burleson Texas
After stalking Epiphanie Bags ( I really want one or twelve) and seeing their post on weekend 10 to make sure you capture your own life I thought, "wow, I should do that." And I did... And then life happened lol. So here is my first installment of Weekend 10 from two weeks ago. I will try to be more prompt but this was a really special weekend so I wanted to share.
So we set off, my mom, me and my daughter, on a girl's road trip. First stop, my grandma's house in Oklahoma. While there I decided to shoot some of the farm to create a memory book for my grandma. Shhh don't tell her.
My daughter and I started walking the property to explore. First she found the barn....
And then she climbed a tree...
And fell down... oh look a rock...
After spending the evening there enjoying good food, amazing sunsets and qualitytime, all four generations headed back to Texas. The panhandle this time, to see my cousin graduate from collage. So proud of her.
And while we were there we had a chance to take a lot of great family shots. There is one of me and my lil luv that I adore and a Four generation shot of my Aunt Becky's line. The whole line including all her kids and grand kids. I love shots like this! So rare to have everyone together.
We spent the weekend just hanging out and enjoying family time before heading back to Oklahoma Sunday afternoon to take my Grandma home. Hated to leave the cozy kitchen and all the laughs we shared. Our family is growing by leaps and bounds but spreading out further and further. I just miss them all so much!
Monday morning we spent time just enjoying the nice weather and looking around out all the lovely flowers bursting up and blooming. And drawing out the to few moment of having all four of our generations together. I hope my daughter cherishes having both her grandma and her great grandma to enjoy.
After burning off a little energy my mom, my baby girl and I loaded back up. Loved all the happy memories we made on this trip but always sad to say goodbye.
And a few hours later it was home, sweet home and stuck in traffic in Fort Worth!
